Data-driven NDC Implementation in Pacific Nations

The session convenes good practices on data-driven NDC implementation and monitoring from Pacific Island nations, focused on GHG inventories, MRV systems and digital reporting tools. It will present current NDC implementation status and monitoring against global frameworks and benchmarks, with critical enablers for moving the needle discussed. Kiribati will spotlight its newly developed GHG inventory tool, with Fiji and Vanuatu sharing experiences and lessons on GHG inventory and MRV. The Regional NDC Hub offers a regional lens on implementation status, good practices, and shared challenges. The panel will highlight practical solutions and opportunities for peer learning and cooperation across the Pacific.
