Keeping 1.5°C Alive: Defending science and accelerating the transition away from fossil fuels

This event will showcase the critical role of the Blue Pacific Ocean in maintaining global planetary stability and the ongoing campaign by Pacific Islands to elevate the Ocean-Climate Nexus and action at all levels to move towards 100% sustainable management of the Blue Pacific Continent. The event will highlight action in UNFCCC and global process, the 2026 Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Statement, BBNJ Agreement, and ocean-climate action at local and regional levels.
