National platforms: What’s the reality behind the hype?

Both the C&DM and LIFE-AR advocate for country platforms to be country-led, focusing on building enabling environment, reducing transaction and reporting costs, fostering continuous learning and promoting whole-of-society and whole-of-government approaches. This event will build on concrete examples from LDCs and SIDS to demonstrate why this approach works. It will also explore remaining challenges and shortfalls, to highlight where progress should be made, to go beyond the hype and develop country platforms that delivers for the countries who need it most.
