Tuvalu’s model for financial resilience

What does climate finance look like when it reaches the people facing climate risk first? This panel brings together Tuvalu’s Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, UNCDF, PIFS and a parametric insurance payout beneficiary to connect national policy with lived experience. Through Tuvalu’s journey in building pre-arranged financial protection, speakers will explore how small island states can turn climate and disaster risk financing into timely, inclusive and nationally owned solutions that protect households and strengthen resilience.
