Weave Together: Pacific Owned Solutions

Climate finance rarely reaches the communities carrying the impact. Pacific knowledge rarely stays in Pacific hands. PICAN built two instruments to change that. The PICAN Climate Justice Fund turns our Pacific Climate Justice Demands into funded action, channelling resources directly to the communities who know their needs best, cutting out the layers that slow decisions down or hand control elsewhere. The Knowledge Hub keeps Pacific evidence under Pacific ownership, so the research, data and stories our communities generate stay in our hands and shape our own advocacy and responses, instead of being extracted and repackaged elsewhere.
